We are located in downtown Downers Grove, at the corner of Maple Avenue & Washington Street. Our address is 929 Maple Avenue, Downers Grove, IL 60515.

Nursery, Sunday School, and Adult Bible Fellowships start at 9 a.m. Our Worship Service, Children's Church, and Nursery are at 10:30 a.m.

Parking is available in the following places:

1. The First Baptist Church parking garage entrance is located on Washington St., north of Maple Avenue. *Please use the entrance that says "Church Parking". The garage offers a wheelchair lift. 

Sunday Parking Garage Hours: 7 am - 1 pm

2. Overflow parking available behind the Lincoln Center.

3. For those with physical disabilities: please use the Church Office parking lot off Washington St, south of Maple Ave.

You may also use Valet service at the West Entrance (adjacent to Lincoln Center).

We teach God's Word in an engaging, age-appropriate way in Grove Kids' Sunday School and Children's Church.

Our classes are divided into these age groups: 2's and 3's; 4's and 5's; 1st-5th grade; 6th-12th grade. We provide Nursery care for infants - 2 years. Please visit Grove Kids for more details!

Your child's safety is our priority. Please check in at our Grove Kids kiosk to print a name badge for your child. After the Worship service, bring your badge to pick up your children.

Sunday Worship services last about 1 hour. Communion is held the first Sunday of each month, and typically last 1 hour and 15 minutes.

We worship the Lord through song, the preaching of the Word of God, and ordinances (Communion and Believers' Baptism).

Sunday mornings are usually a blend of both hymns and modern worship songs.
