Fall Retreat- 11/3 through 11/5
Who: Students in 6th-12th grade
This upcoming November 3rd through the 5th is our Fall Service Retreat. This retreat is open to students in 6th grade through 12th grade.
Below is what each student should bring to the camp in order to have a comfortable and enjoyable camping experience.
We would like to leave First Baptist Church at 4pm on Friday and we will be returning to church at 1pm on Sunday. Online payment is not yet running for this event. There is no problem with waiting, but if you want to pay now please provide a check to the church office.
- Sleeping Bag or Blanket
- Bath towel and washcloth
- Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, soap, ect.)
- Rain Gear
- Warm Jacket, Sweater or Hoodie
- Sports Shoes
- Hiking Boots
- Long Pants (Certain projects may require these)
- Winter Hat
- Gloves*** We will be working outdoors on
Saturday morning and I strongly encourage gloves to be worn
- Bible, Pencil, Pen and Notebook.
*What Not To Bring*
Ipods, Game boys, Electronic Devices, Jewelry,Expensive Clothing or Expensive Items
It is my desire for students
to get away from the outside world and experience God through service and nature. I would like to have every student
turn in their cell phones to their group leaders throughout the duration of the trip. If you would like to have your student
have a cell phone on their person please speak to me separately so we can discuss the need.
